DAD WE LOVE YOU!

It's hard to ever imagine a family member in distress or in pain or imagine anything awful happening to them. When I think of my father I think of a loveable man, brave, supportive, a man who would do anything for his family, his friends, his neighbors, even a stranger. He is a compassionate man, one of the most compassionate men I have ever known. It's hard to put into words how much I love my Dad and everything that he has given or done for me and my family. I only hope that I can be as amazing of a person and an eaxample his him.  My father has always been there for me through everything, for my ups and my downs and has never loved me less for my imperfections but only loved me more. He was always there for me growing up and will always be there for me in the future. I can't even imagine having a better father. He means the world to me.It is an amazing sight and feeling to see my son with my father. My child adores his grandpa and visa-versa and it melts my heart to see them together. This past week has been a wake up call for all of our family. My father had been complaining of some vision problems and weakness in his arm as well as some other complaints but hadn't thought much of them but it kept getting worse so with some encouragement he finally went into see his Dr. That night they took him in for an MRI and the next morning had called my father to tell him that he had had a stroke on both sides of his brain- my father was in tears as well as the rest of us once we had found out, and told him to get to the hospital immediately. My father is only 56 years old- so young for something so serious. They have done numerous tests to find out exactly where the stroke came from and finally found out that my father had a hole in his heart that eventually with time and stress and other factors pushed blood out in larges spurts to his brain causing the stroke and had also found an aneurysm in his heart as well. And come to find that he actually had had a series of 4 strokes in the past week or so.  He is doing so well considering the severity of everything and is very fortunate that the affects are not worse. The Dr's couldn't believe that things were not worse and said if there had been a 5th stroke at that time that things would be a lot worse. He is still having vision problems and some headaches but the Dr's feel that he will make a full recovery with time but also told him that his chance of having another stroke have highly increased but will take preventative measures to help with that. He goes in for a procedure Monday to fix the hole and the aneurysm.  I can't express how much I love my dad and I could never imagine being on this earth without him. I want my dad to know how much I love him and how much he means to me and my family as well as all his family. I am so grateful that he is still here today and will continue to be with us for a long, long time.
WE LOVE YOU DAD!
