The Fair

It was Fair time in Blackfoot again.  We never miss the Fair, the food is too good, we get in for free and I love the booths, plus this year Heart was in concert. We went a few times this year, well we usually do, but the first time we met Keegan and Brit there and got to see some animals and hang out for a bit. Kree loved the puppies and the baby pigs.  We of course got to see my Dad, he ran his booth again for the company, so we always have a place to go rest if needed.  We promised Kree he could ride a few rides this year, we made sure to eat afterwards.  He loved it and wanted more and more. Treker of course hung out in the stroller and enjoyed himself and then he got to hang out with Papa.  He loves Papa!  Later in the week we came back without the kids and got to go to the Heart concert with my Dad.  I love Heart, probably because I am my Father's child.  It was a great concert and I would totally see them again.

End of Poky Softball

So I have played city softball in Poky for about 8 or so years.  I originally played for Tastee Treat but after a few years I switched to Recovered Energy. I have met some amazing people through softball and some good friends.  I love softball so much, it is truly one of my passions and I will truly miss playing in Poky with some wonderful people.  Since we are moving to Idaho Falls I will no longer be able to play in the Poky league, it makes me sad!  This year Recovered Energy put on a big end of season party, they rented a big blow up castle for the kids, we played a little softball, had a huge barbeque and cotton candy and snow cones. I brought Kree's cousin Ellie for him to play with, they had a blast. It was a good time and I will miss all these wonderful people that have befriended me and allowed me to play on their team for so long.  Thank You!

Treker 6 Month Pictures

So I had bought a camera this summer so I could take some of my own kids pictures instead of paying a fortune all the time to have them done.  These were Treker's 6 month pictures, these were the best two that I could get, I'm still learning.  But I have to admit that these were pretty good and he is so stinkin cute!
6 month update to come.

Jackson Hole- The Grand Teton Trip

So last Christmas Ragen's parents gave all the boys a Grand Teton Trip for the following August, yes they are actually going to climb the Tetons.  So we took a few days off and headed to Jackson Hole.  Ragen, his brothers and his Dad had to be there that Tuesday night August 7th, so they headed out and I had to stay and work until Thursday. All the rest of the family went up too, so when we got there Thursday, some of them had already gone back to work so we missed some of the family.  Kerri and her kids were still there and Verla, so we were able to spend some time with them while the boys had their training.  They started training that Wednesday and Thursday and did their climb that Friday and Saturday August 10th and 11th.
We were able to a lot of fun things while the boys were away.  Before the boys and I had gotten there, the rest of the family went to the Bar J Wranglers and said that it was really good. We also went miniature golfing (wanted to do the big mountain slides but did get back to do them- darn-it!),  did some shopping, swimming and we took a boat ride across Jenny Lake so we could hike on the other side.  We wanted to see where the boys did some of their training and where they started their climb.  So I strapped the baby in and we made our trek. Then we made sure we went back to meet the guys when they got back from their hike.  They all had a good time, a little sore but enjoyed theirselves, unfortunately Ragen's brother Ryn got really sick and had to come back sooner than the rest and Ragen's Dad was able to make it to the top but on their way back he got really sick as well. They are all doing well now though.  Ragen is glad he accomplished this venture and he had a good time and we are proud of him for accomplishing it. Ragen was able to take out small camera with him so he got some good pictures of them hiking and at the top of the Tetons. We also had a really good time, getting away from work and enjoying ourselves for a few days.
Thanks Mark and Verla for this wonderful time!

We Will Miss You Guys!

We have had such wonderful babysitters while we have been here in Poky.  When we first had Kree we had an amazing babysitter Kelsey McCombs but they moved away a few years ago, but we have had wonderful replacements.  Hannah Campbell with the help of her family have been wonderful.  She helped us a lot during the summer when she wasn't in school.  Thanks a ton Hannah!  Megan Ward and her girls have been amazing too.  Kree is used to playing with girls all the time and Megan has 2 girls plus other girls that come over as well.  Kree loves it and Treker is loving it too.  Thank you Megan for all you have done!  Then there is Jamie Peck.. she has girls as well, she does have some older boys but they were always at school but again Kree and Treker loved every minute.  Jamie you have been wonderful as well, Thank You!
Both Megan and Jamie are expecting with Boys, now that we are moving away... Best of luck to them.  We will miss all of you guys and really do appreciate all that you have done.
