Easter

We started Easter off this year with dying Easter eggs at Steve and Stef's house. Normally every year we have gone to my sister Kari's house to dye eggs but now that we are in IF I am glad that Steve and Stef invited us over to carry on the tradition. It was messy so better Stef's house rather than mine, just kidding. The kids had fun and that's all that matters.  And we enjoyed egg salad sandwiches the next day.

On Easter Morning, the kids were definitely surprised and so were we, Treker decided to throw up, poor kid so he may not have been as surprised as Kree was.  The Easter Bunny brought Kree a few new books, an Angry Birds blanket, Ninja Turtle mask and swords and plenty of candy.  Treker got a few new books, a little BullsEye and a Mickey Mouse bookset and candy.  Poor kid didn't really enjoy his stuff until later that day and that was even slim, but Kree absolutely loved his... he was a Ninja Turtle all day long.  Kree did the Easter Egg hunt all a lone and Treker just sat and cuddled.  Kree found a lot of eggs and all our money!
Happy Easter Everyone!

Family Pictures 2013

So I am one of those paranoid mothers now about getting pictures done right when they need to be done. I never did do newborn pictures with Kree and Treker which I regret and I forgot to do 9 month pictures with Treker which I am beating myself in the foot still for not doing it.  So when Treker turned 1 and Kree turned 4 I kept telling Ragen I need to get these done.
Luckily my cousin Annie is a saint and took some for us.  Plus we got to take a trip to Boise for the weekend. The kids did amazing during the pictures, better than I thought they would.  Treker is just such a  mover and doesn't always cooperate so I thought he would freak but he did great. As for me I wish I would have wore a different shirt, stripes are not good for pictures.  Oh well, I have learned my lesson for next time. Annie did amazing as usual, Thank you!

More Birthday Fun!

The weekend after Kree's Birthday, we headed to Declo to spend some time with family.  Ragen's parents wanted to take everyone to Hagerman to Thousand Springs for some swimming and to celebrate Kree's Birthday, so we all loaded up and headed there.  We stopped at Papa Kelsey's right there in town first to eat and celebrate Kree's Birthday.  Kree was so excited because all his cousins were there to share it with him. I think Treker was the most excited... he thought the presents were for him.
Grandma and Grandpa got Kree a BullsEye to go with his Woody and a couple of other fun toys.
After the festivities we headed to Thousand Springs to swim only to find out that they were closed for maintenance (that will teach us to not call before driving all the way to Hagerman).  So trying to think of something else to do... all the other Hot Spring places were jammed packed so we headed back to Twin Falls to the big blow up toy place (not sure what it's called).  I think the kids had a fun time even if it wasn't swimming.  A few bumps, bruises and bloody lips later, they made it out alive and loved every second of it.  Thanks Grandma and Grandpa for the fun time!
