Dinosaurs

This past weekend we decided to head to Idaho Falls.  Since the baby, we have been at home and I think it was getting to us and we needed to get out.  There was a funeral that I thought I needed to go to and we thought it would be fun to take Kree to the Dinosaur Museum in I.F.  We felt like Kree needed some time with us by himself since the baby.  He loves the baby to death but he has also shown some frustration meaning I think he sometimes feels that he's not getting enough attention.  I can't imagine how he feels but we want to make sure he knows that we love him and will always love him just as much as we did before the baby was here and I think that letting him do some things with just him is important sometimes. So we took him to see the dinosaurs and he was soooo excited. Luckily my mom loves to snuggle with newborns so she volunteered to babysit Treker while we went.
When we got there, he immediately started running to and from every little exhibit... no stopping... big smiles from ear to ear the entire time.  I loved every minute of it!  Here are a few pictures of our dinosaur adventures.
This was the main dinosaur "Sue" the T-Rex

This was a horse in the kids adventure playroom that didn't have anything to do with dinosaurs but it was cute.

Week 1- Pictures

Well we have survived the 1st week w/ 2 kids.  It has not been easy that's for sure.  With Kree potty training, it has been crazy around the house, he has slightly digressed and I'm sure it has not been easy for him knowing that he is not getting all of the attention anymore.  But I know that we will be ok and with some time Kree will master this potty training... eventually.
Treker is doing well, he usually wakes up 2-3 times during the night, although last night he only woke up 1 time which was wonderful for Ragen and I.  He is eating about 2oz every feeding (bottle fed) and still loves to sleep during the day.  We are trying to keep him awake a little more especially in the evening so he might sleep better during the night.
We had to take Treker in for an ultrasound today to check his kidneys.  When I was pregnant... all of my ultrasounds (3) showed the baby having some fluid on his kidneys especially on his right.  It had gotten better with the last ultrasound but still had some, so the pediatrician wanted Treker to have one to double check.  The tech says that there was still some fluid and even some on the left but says that it's not official yet.  So when we go back to the pediatrician in a week and a half or so hopefully we will know more.
Well here are a lot of pictures from the last week, I would have posted more but there is just too many.

I LOVE this picture... Best of Buds!

Treker loves to sleep in this chair, in fact at night this is the only thing we can get him to stay asleep in long enough.

Treker Call Darrington

TREKER CALL DARRINGTON

He's Here!  Treker Call Darrington is finally here.  He arrived to us on February 15 2012 at 3:37pm.  He was 7lbs 2oz, 20 1/2 inches long.
We are so Happy that he is here, healthy and adorable.
Here's how it happened... I went to work on Tuesday (Valentines Day), got home about 2:30, ate some late lunch, was getting ready for our Tax appointment at 4:00, sat down on the couch for a minute at about 3:30 and then my water broke.  I wasn't quite sure at first because people have always told me that it's like a gush of fluid that runs down to your feet, mine was just like I peed my pants, but as minutes went on more kept coming off and on.  We called my sister to come get Kree and thought we better head to the hospital to have it checked.  Sure enough my water had broke and I was officially in labor.
Ragen was so mad because he did not want a Valentines baby and new that he jinxed himself.
We totally thought that we would have this baby that night, but labor was progressing slowly.  Later that evening about 9:30 I was only dilated to about a 4, had an epidural about 2:30am, later checked only at a 6 but then decided it was about a 5,  put an intrauterus catheter in to help determine more effectively and then increased pitosin more.  The nurse kept telling us that the highest she has ever had to increase the pitosin is to about 26 and I was already reaching that point.  The MD told her that they could increase as high as 36.
The hardest part was the epidural had worked so well in my legs that I was unable to even wiggle my toes since I had the epidural early that morning.  They had to keep coming and turning me because I was unable to move at all, my legs were becoming swollen from no movement so they put tedhose on me.
Rechecked again about 10:00am and still at about a 6 and then increased pitosin more, checked again at 11 and was at an 8 and increased pitosin to 36, kept checking every hour and eventually hit a 10 at about 2:30/3:00pm.  We then started pushing for about a half hour/ 45 minutes.  The epidural worked in the legs but it started wearing out in my abdomen some but not completely thank goodness because it was already becoming uncomfortable.  Treker was then born at 3:37pm.
I went in to this expecting everything to be so similar to Kree's labor but it was completely opposite.  I was not expecting 24 hours of labor, but Ragen got his wish...  no Valentines baby.  We are so greatful that Treker is here no matter how it happened and grateful that he is healthy and adorable and we love him so much.
Since we've been home, it has been so cute to watch Kree with Treker.  He is so protective of him and the the baby's stuff.  Loves to kiss him and touch him but sometimes he likes to touch him a little too hard.  They are going to be the best of friends.  I love these two little guys soooo much and don't know what I would do without them.
I just want to thank everyone who has helped during the last several days, all my family who has taken care of Kree for us and been there to support us and who came to visit Treker.  Especially Ragen... He has been amazing through this whole thing and I don't know what I would do without him.  I love him so much and he is an amazing dad.
I will post more pictures here soon.

Look Who's...

Look who's Potty Training!  Notice I said Training... I wish I had said Trained though.  We have been putting it off for so long but the other day I told Ragen that we just need to suck it up and start Kree, knowing that this baby is coming at anytime I at least wanted to get a start on it.  It has definitely tested our patience but it is getting easier each day.  We thought we would never get through the first day of it because Kree did not like it one bit and we were in the bathroom with him hours at a time, bribing, singing, whatever we could possibly do to get him to go.  He finally went that night and we were so proud of him and he was so proud of himself.  Yesterday he did really well, had a pull-up on him all day and no accidents and would even pee in the toilet everytime we put him on. We even took him to the Dollar store and let him pick out a treat and now we will give him one everytime he goes.  He did manage to poop in his pull-up, I guess that will be a whole new adventure.  Later that evening we went to my sister's house and that was a little more of a struggle, he went a couple of times but he also went in his pull-up too.  I'm sure he was a little more distracted with all his cousins around.  Today we put Big Boy underwear on him and we are going strong... he has done really well so far.  So keep wishing us luck!

Counting the Days!

Yes this is me... hopefully ready to POP soon! I am about 38  1/2 weeks and crossing my fingers that this little guy comes soon.  My Dr is gone this weekend, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday of this coming week so I will see him Thursday and he told me if I want he would induce me that weekend, which I will totally take him up on it if this little guy hasn't come yet.  I'd much rather go on my own before being induced, but I have been soooo ready for sooooo long.  My Dr always manages to go on vacation when I'm getting close to my due date.  With Kree he was going to be gone on his due date so we had scheduled an inducement date a few days before, luckily Kree came the day before that. And now he is going to be gone again, so who knows what is going to happen.
Ragen is really hoping that he is not a Valentines baby but he very well could be.  We just want him to come and come healthy, we are excited to have another little boy around and Kree is getting more and more excited... sort of.

Just for Pam!

I had to add this just for my Mom!  I knew she would be thrilled to have her picture posted for all to see.  Kree has these sticker books that he loves. We had made a visit to Idaho Falls a couple of weekends ago, well Kree thought it would be fun to start sticking the stickers all over his face and body but even funnier to stick them all over Grandma... she was thrilled as you can tell.  Really she loved every minute of it as did Kree and then he proceeded to do the same to Grandpa... unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of that one.  So this is for you Mom!
