Supercross 2013

It was time for out Annual trip to Supercross in Salt Lake City. We love it that it is so conveniently close.  We first headed to the new Scheels store past Salt Lake City. it's a big sporting good store like Dicks Sporting Goods.  We decided to leave Treker in Pocatello with my sister because he can be so difficult to contain and didn't think we wanted to deal with him at Supercross and fight him the whole time, which we are so glad we did.  We love him so much but it was nice to not have to fight him trying to stay still.  Kree was excited though, he is so into dirtbikes and "Poto."  When we got to Scheels, we found that they had a big Ferris Wheel inside, so of course Kree wanted to ride and guess who had to ride with him, me! It was a really neat store and huge, I recommend it to anyone.
Ragen's family is always at Supercross too so it is usually a really good time.  It's always a good time when the rider that I want and like Wins. We spent time shopping and then got to spend some time in the pool with cousins.  We also found out that Salt Lake will not be hosting Supercross next year, so I guess we will have to head to Vegas or even somewhere we've never been.

Soccer

So Kree played his first Competetive sport, Pee-Wee Soccer.  I wanted him to start something to get him involved and active.  Since he is still 4 years old, a lot of places don't take 4 year olds unless their parent is the coach except for the YMCA.  He was so cute out there and one of the littlest ones too.  He loved all the running and kept up with the ball and the more experienced players pretty good, but he was exhausted that night.
I am excited for him to start playing sports and gaining some excitement and a desire to be active.
He even scored a few goals this season, so proud of him.  The Y does a 30 min practice and then a 30 min game right after once a week, which for this age is just perfect because their attention span is not always the greatest.  Kree was so funny, he kept wanting to give the coach hi fives every few minutes- it was funny but had to tell him eventually to stop and just play.  he also kept doing this funny little kick when he ran, I wish I had it on video but it just cracked us up.  This kid is so funny and full of personality, LOVE HIM!

Las Vegas, Mesquite and St George

So in April Ragen's work paid for him to go to Mesquite for a Golf Tournament and wining and dining with clients, so of course I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity to head down south to warm weather.  So us and the kids packed up and headed on the road.  While Ragen was out golfing and smoozing clients, the kids and I headed to Vegas one day to hang out with my brother and his family.  While my brother Taylor was working, his wife Shantai and I and the kiddos spent the day playing at the park (of course I snuck in a little shopping too).  The kids had a blast playing together, then later we were able to go to dinner when Taylor got off work and have some ice cream before we headed back to Mesquite.
The next day while Ragen was still in a golf Tournament, we just hung out around the hotel and went swimming and lounged, not a whole lot but very relaxing.
The rest of the weekend we were able to head back to St George for a few days with Ragen's parents and stay in their new house that they bought.  We are excited that we have a nice place to come stay in whenever we want now.  We spent some time shopping, went to a Dinosaur museum, went to a fun splash and wade pool in downtown St George, biked, Easter Egg Hunt with Grandma and Grandpa and even went to a Diamond Rio concert at then Tuacahn.  We had a blast getting away for a while, much needed.
