What's Been Going in June

So I have really slacked lately on keeping up with blogs.  The last several blogs before this one were all put off for quite sometime.  I just needed to post what's been going on the last month or two with the kiddo's and family.  It is now the end of June so Treker is about 4 1/2 months and counting. Treker has been growing like crazy.  We just took him in for his 4 month and he was 13lbs 4oz (17%), 24" (16%), and his head was 16 3/4" (57%).
He is becoming a little chunk when looking at him, he has the chubbiest cheeks... I love them! He loves to babble and talk to himself.  Loves to be faced outward or standing up and is always trying to sit himself up. He is rolling to his side all the time just waiting for the day when he's on his tummy.  He hates tummy time still but will hold his head up now really well,  he is holding toys/rattles, etc and loves to eat them.  He also loves to eat his hands and lately it has been his pointer and middle fingers that make it into his mouth. He is also discovering his feet with his hands and making funny faces.  He loves sitting in his bumbo chair... he thinks he pretty cool when he dies. His nicknames right now (I guess since he was born) are Chubba-lubs, Chummers, Sweet Pea, and Angel.  We have tried rice cereal with him but he is not a fan, but we will keep trying, we also tried giving him some baby food and he liked a little but had a hard time grasping the concept but we will keep trying. My favorite thing Treker is doing is he loves his blanket up by his face and he'll grab it and pull it over his face and then shake his arms a little and then pull it off and do it over and over again... it's hilarious.
He has had a cough/stuffy nose since he was about 1 month old. The doctor just keeps telling us that he has a virus but I think it's something else just don't know what.  At night he is constantly coughing and gagging on all the gunk in his throat and now it is happening more often in the day as well.  Hopefully we get this figured out soon.
Kree is growing like crazy and changing like crazy.  My little Bug-a-boo has started to get a little attitude and talks back to us, little stinker.  He is starting to say words that we are not to fond of such as "hate."  We have got to break him of this habit.  He started swimming lessons (pictures to come) and loves it.  He is a little hesitant at first but then warms up fast.  He also got a new bike (pictures to come as well), a cars bike that he absolutely loves and won't stop riding.  He has been riding his trike forever and now he's a big boy.  He is saying some of the funniest things and I wish I could remember them all.  One that sticks out in my mind is... we're riding bikes one night and the seat was pinching the inside of his legs and between the legs, but Kree says " Daddy, the Lobsters are pinching my peepers!"  He's saying this as he holds his hands up pinching his fingers together, cracked us up,  I just love this kid!  He says lobsters because whenever we go to Red Lobster they let him touch the live lobsters and they will pinch his fingers.
We have been doing a lot of bike riding... well Kree has and Ragen walks with the stroller and I usually will run with my sister Kari. Ragen has started BLM again and so far it has been busy.  He has had a lot of job interviews lately and some good options, now it's a matter of deciding what he wants and where we want to go so we can finally buy a home and settle somewhere.  It's already been a busy summer and lots more to come.
Lots of pictures below!

Memorial Day Fun! (Lots of Pictures)

Memorial Day is always a weekend with Hunter clan.  This year my parents wanted to do something fun with everyone that wasn't at my mother's house (this is my mother talking).  So they arranged for us to go to Starlite Skating on Saturday evening.  I will admit at first I wasn't too sure about this because I'm sure for everyone it has been an extremely long time since we have skated and I also wasn't sure how Kree would handle it.  But it was really fun, we all had a blast and I think I only fell maybe one time.
Kree did surprisely well too and was having a ton of fun.  I noticed that all the men were probably enjoying themselves more than the women (not that we weren't) but men tend to be a little more macho when it comes to stuff like this and everyone of them loved it.
We spent the evening skating, eating pizza, celebrating my Brother-in-law Stephen's Birthday, and enjoying each other's company... Thank You Mom & Dad for the fun evening!
Sunday we went to church at my parent's ward, visited some cemetaries and had a nice lunch as well as enjoyed everyone's company.
Monday the men all went golfing as tradition has been, and then we all met up at the cemetary in Poky as we always do. We have to make sure we visit Grandma/Grandpa Chandler's stone as well as Grandpa Hunter's Stone.  We then headed to the park for a picnic and fun before family headed home.  We had a fun family game of wiffle ball which was quite the game but very fun and then some playing in the park.  Overall a very fun weekend as it always is, the only thing we were missing was Taylor and his family.  I love Memorial Day Weekend!

Happy Birthday Ragen!

So I had arranged for us to have family pictures in Boise on May 19th by my cousin Annie... it was the perfect excuse to get away for the weekend and of course it was Ragen's Birthday.  We headed there on Friday and figured we would just check into the hotel and let Kree swim for a while.  Kree gets so excited to stay at hotels, not sure if it's the swimming or the fact that he gets a big bed all to himself.
We first met up with my Aunt Judy who was there for state track.  We met her at my cousin Heidi's house who I hadn't seen for a long time as well as my cousin Jake and all their families.  It was nice to see them and catch up a little.  We then headed to the hotel for a dip in the pool.  Thought the pool was gonna be heated but nope it was freezing cold so Treker and I didn't last very long, but Treker did take his first swim... he actually handled it very well.  Ragen and Kree of course lasted a little longer than us and enjoyed every minute of it.
Saturday we did a little shopping but didn't do as much as I had planned... I actually just wasn't quite in the mood... Weird! We then opened some presents in the hotel room and then had a birthday lunch at Red Robin where they sang to Ragen but unfortunately I forgot the camera in the car. Then later met up with my cousin Annie for pictures.  She is such an amazing photographer and loved to catch up with her (Pictures to come later).  Then we stopped at Goodwood for some Birthday dinner for Ragen and I remembered the camera this time but of course they didn't sing to him.
Sunday we slept in some and then headed to the zoo.  Kree loved it but I was a little disappointed that some of the zoo was blocked off and it had changed some but Kree still loved it and I'm sure Treker did too.  Then back to Poky we headed.  It's nice to get away like that and we all enjoyed ourselves.  Sometimes these vacations are much needed.
