SWIMMING... and other things

So this past Saturday my sister Kari invited us to go to Indian Hot Springs with her and her family. Ragen had to work unfortunately but Kree and I decided that would be fun. I'm not exactly a water person but I probably should expose Kree to it early so that he will enjoy it. He loved it! We've taken him a few other times and he enjoyed it then as well. Here are few cute pitures of our fun adventure.

This picture I had to add. So I obviously missed a few spots on Kree's face with the sunscreen as you can see- Whoops! Also Kree is doing the funniest face now- where he tucks his bottom lip under, it is so funny. I was able to catch it on camera.

And then this picture I thought was so cute. When I came home from work the other day, Ragen and Kree were waiting for me on the motorcycle. It's hard to resist these two good lookin men in my life.

First Time For Everything

So Kree got his first EAR INFECTION. Last night he woke up several times sreaming bloody murder, I knew right away something was wrong. He has been irritable the last few days but never screamed like this before- it really worried Ragen and me. So I made a Dr apppointment for today and this is what we found out. Poor little guy! I ended up missing work but that's OK because I'd rather take care of my sweet pea. The Dr gave him some Amoxicillin so hopefully he will be feeling better soon. I guess there is a first time for everything. My mother told me that I had a lot of ear infections so my child was bound to get them. Like Mother like Son.

He Eats... He Sits!

So there are so many new things that Kree is doing lately since I posted last. He is a little over 5 months old almost 5 1/2 months and growing growing growing. This first picture is of Kree eating baby food- Peas to be exact- he actually likes them. He get so messy though. Boys will be boys I guess. I wasn't sure whether to give him the food or not but he is taking to it really well. Another thing that I think is so funny... when we put him in the carseat he starts doing his bridging because he hates to be put in there. It's so funny! He is going to have a tight butt from it. He also has the best pouty face that we have yet to get on camera. I may have mentioned it before but it is so darn funny and so cute. And then he is now SITTING up on his own. There are some pictures below.

These next pictures are of our family outing to the driving range/ miniture golf course near our house. Kree wanted to be a part of it as you can see. Loves to be in Daddy's arms.

And here is our little Cutie Pie SITTING all by himself. He started doing it less than a week ago. He surprised us all. We are so proud of him. And he is so proud of himself. He will get so excited and that's when he topples over.

Things to Remember

I've noticed that alot of people I know will put things to remember about their kids/babies- things that they are doing at that time. So I thought I would try this so that I have them for history.
Kree is 5 months old, he is now:

• at his 4 month appt he weighed 14lbs 6 oz, 26 1/2 inches long, and head circumf: 17 1/4 in.
• rolling over, and is staying on his tummy longer now- he used to hate it.
• he definitely knows his bottle from anything else and sometimes he can even hold it on his own.
• he is sleeping his crib finally- his mom was being a chicken and waited forever, but he is doing well in it.
• he loves to grab your face now
• he is able to entertain himself pretty well.
• in the mornings he is so happy and playful, he is the rest of the day too but mornings are the best.
• he had his first cold this past weekend- poor little guy.
• he loves to play in his saucer and eat/suck on the piggy
• he is finally spitting up less and less everyday, there is still some but not as bad
• he is drooling like crazy but no teeth yet.
• he still loves to kick, kick, kick.
• he has the cutest, funniest laugh.
• he smiles at everything and anyone- he is such a happy kid.
• he loves to try and grab whatever is in front of him and put it in his mouth
• he loves to talk to ya- the sweetest little baby jibberish
• he does this fake coughing that is so funny
• he has discovered his tongue and it looks like he is chewing on it all the time- pretty cute, pretty funny.
• he's already gone on his first airplane ride.
• he is ticklish on the back of his thighs and his armpits
• he hates when mommy has to suck his nose out, especially when he had his cold or wipe is face
• he has started eating ric cereal every once in a while
• And he LOVES HIS MOMMY AND DADDY.

Also some of his nicknames that he has had since he was born are:

• Bug-a-boo (this one is Mommy's)
• Squirrel (this one is Daddy's when he was first born)
• Kree Dawg
• Sweat Pea
• Kreeper's (this one came from Uncle Stevie)
• Little Man
• Kree Boy
• Stinker
• Fuzz Head (because of his fuzzy hair)
