Easter Blessing!

This Easter was another special one as it was 3 years ago.  Treker was blessed this Easter as was Kree 3 years ago.  We woke up to Easter baskets with the kids.  Kree was really excited and Treker could probably care less :).  Ragen thinks I tend to do too much but I can't help it, it's fun.  I found these cute satin Boise State blankets and couldn't resist and they love them plus a few books, a toy and of course little candy to top it off.
Treker was thrilled.
Kree loved his basket.

Later that afternoon we had Treker's blessing.  What a wonderful day to bless him... Easter Sunday. We had all of out family there, everyone except my brother Taylor... wish he could have been there.  Ragen did a wonderful job with the blessing, it was very appropriate and spiritual.  Thank you to all the family that was there and supported us.  We had a wonderful luncheon afterwards.  It was nice to visit with family and spend Easter with all of them.  Thanks again to everyone, it was such a wonderful day.

A few days earlier we dyed Easter Eggs with my sister's family.  Kree loved it and kept dipping his eggs over and over and over again, but they turned out cute.  You can't have Easter without dying a few Easter eggs.

Brothers!

After taking all these pictures with the new camera of Kree and Treker, I thought that I better get them together in some pictures.  I saw some cute ideas online and on Pinterest of pictures taken on beds and with no shirts and levis and they were so cute, so I thought  "I can do that."  So after some bribing with Kree and feeding the baby I think I got some cute shots of them.  It was a challenge with a newborn and a 3 year old getting them to cooperate at the same time, but I Love my cute boys!

Gotta get the feet!

This one is my favorite!

Kree 3 Year Pictures

I am loving this new camera and am way excited for the way these pictures turned out. We were in Declo, it was a decent day out and since Ragen's parents live by the river I thought I would give it a shot.  The challenge was trying to get Kree to cooperate.  I think he was getting frustrated with me, as I was with him.  He likes to smile but he is always looking down or away from the camera and he could not stay focused.  I guess he is 3 but I finally had Ragen come out and try to keep him focused and I think we finally got some really good shots.  This first one is my favorite!  I have such cute boys to take pictures of!  I love that smile!
Love this one!

Had to have some with the Tractor and with Kree's "Dinners" (overalls).

Treker 6 Week Pictures

I bought a new camera a few weeks ago, a Nikon D5100 because I was tired of having pictures that were blurry and not great quality.  I also wanted to start being able to take my kids pictures rather than pay a fortune to have them taken.  So I bought a few props and played around with the camera some.  These are Treker's 6 week pictures... I thought for my first time they turned out pretty good.

I love these little feet!

Treker is growing so fast lately.  I can't believe how fast it has gone.  He is usually called Chummers in our household because he would never miss a feeding but lately he has been
a stinker when it comes to feeding time.  Not sure if he's got some acid reflux going on or maybe just a little colic or something.  He is starting to smile quite a bit and making a lot of cute sounds. He is sleeping a little better at night now... I wish it was all night though.  I took him into the Dr a week or so again because I thought maybe he had an ear infection (but he didn't), but he weighed 10lbs even, so growing well.  He is starting to hold his head up really well, not perfect but so much better.  He probably loves sleeping in his carseat the most and we're thinking of just letting him sleep in that at night instead of his chair.  He is starting to like his baths more and more with less crying and loves it when his diaper gets changed.  Kree still loves to mall him and kiss him all the time, we have to get on him some times but he actually does very well with him.  Can't wait for more changes with the both of them.
My next task is to take Kree's 3 year pictures... so excited to play around with the camera and hopefully get some good shots.

Date Night!

So a couple of weekends ago we headed to Declo for a Sibling Date Night.  Ragen's parents had done the weekend before and thought it would be fun. So we had all of Ragen's siblings and his parents along with some friends.  We started the night off with Foosball at the house.  We divided into 3 teams of 2 couples and each of us had a hold of one handle.  Our team consisted of Brogan and Brittni and we were the Champions!

We then headed to the Bowling alley for a few games and some pizza.  The first game was a regular game and we did not do so hot.  It's been a while since Ragen and I have bowled... not so good.  The 2nd game was a fun game of skittle bowling... each color we drew had a different way to bowl and that's how we had to do it.  It was pretty fun but we still did not do that well and ended up losing the bowling games.

We ended the night with a few games of pool and our team lost.  It was such a fun night and we need to do it again,  Thanks Mark and Verla!
