Christmas!

This was the first year that we have ever spent Christmas at home.  Now that we have our own place and kids we felt that it was time to spent Christmas morning in our own home.  I will admit it was different not having others around because that is what we are used to, but being able to sleep in our own beds and open presents with just our kids was kind of nice.
The kids woke up about 8:00am or so,  Santa had brought Kree's present just a half hour before that.  Call us crazy but we allowed Santa to bring Kree a Dog this year.  His name is Hulk.  Kree has been asking for a dog from Santa for a while now.  He always says he wants a Spiderman Big Dog named Hulk.  Thank you Keegan and Brit for helping us out on this one.  Hulk is a Morkie (half yorkie and half maltese).  Kree was surprised and excited.
Santa brought Treker a Mickey Mouse push car and he loves it.  He has started to walk while pushing something so this was perfect.
Mommy's big gift was an IPad and Daddy got Klim bibs.
Overall the kids and us made out very well.  Kree came out with a dog, a Leap pad, Captain America and Hulk toys, a Spiderman car, stamps, games and a nice new sweatshirt plus everything in his stocking.
Treker came out with a Mickey car, blocks, a dump truck, a xylophone,  a Woody car, a microphone, a nice new sweatshirt, and all his stocking suff too.
Mommy got her IPad, clothes, an ITunes gift card, movies and stocking stuffers
Daddy got Klim bibs, his Teton picture, clothes,  church shirts and ties, movies and stocking stuffers.
Santa also brought a bunch of games for the family.  Thank you Santa for a wonderful Christmas at home.
Later we headed back to my parents for games, food and fun.  Love family time and games. I just love Christmas time!

Hunter Christmas Festivities

Christmas Eve, once Ragen got off work, we headed to my family's house for the Hunter festivities.  My Mom & Dad had planned for us all to draw names and then we head to the dollar store and bought a present for that person that we drew.  She gave us each $1.06 to use.  It was fun, the people at the Dollar store probably thought we were crazy, there were so many of us that bombarded their store.  We then headed back to the house and wrapped the gifts and then exchanged gifts.  It was fun to see what everyone gave each other.  We had played a few other fun games that they had planned and had dinner as well.  We did soup bowls which were really good.  We had bought the boys some books to open on Christmas Eve. so we let them open those before we left for home.  Thank you Mom and Dad for the fun time.

Darrington Christmas

We headed to Declo the weekend before Christmas to spend it with the Darrington's.  Back in August Ragen, his Dad and his brothers all climbed the Tetons so us women put together these frames with pictures and the medallion that is on top of the Teton. We had them open them all together, they loved them.  We had a ton of fun with everyone and enjoyed watching everyone open their gifts.  Ragen's parents got Kree a Woody doll and Treker a Mickey Mouse as well as puffer vests. They got Ragen and I a freezer for our garage, which was much needed.  Thank you Mark and Verla for the wonderful Christmas, the kids loved their presents and so did we. It's always a good time with the Darrington Clan.

New Buddies

These two love playing with each other.  They are laughing at a toy that sounds like it is farting, so funny at least they thought so.

Santa

We were able to visit Santa twice this year.  Ragen and I were asked to help with our ward Christmas party this year, which I don't want to ever to again.  It was fun though and it was a good way for us to meet some new people since we don't know a lot yet.  We had Santa come visit the kids and Kree was so excited.  We thought our party was a success at least this is what people told us.
We also took the kids to see Santa at the mall, let me just say I was not impressed with this Santa, I won't go into details but not impressed.  But Kree was excited and Treker, well, he wasn't too sure.
