Class of 2002

Well Ragen and I are officially old now, we have both made it through our 10 year class reunions (need I remind you that I graduated in 2001 so I am older).  It's amazing how different they were but also how similar.  I came from a class of over 300 students and Ragen came from a class of about 80 students give or take a few. We both had about the same amount show up though to both reunions.  Ragen knew everyone (being student body president had it's advantages) and me well lets just say I knew a lot but not all of them.
We had a good time and I have gotten to know a lot of Ragen's friends from high school so I wasn't completely by myself.  Even though I give Ragen a lot of crap about being from Declo, they are some pretty good people.

Kree's Tumbling Class

I wanted Kree to be able to doing something fun and productive this summer besides swimming so I enrolled him in a Tumbling class at Randy's X-treme Tumbling Gym.  I thought it would be really good for Kree's coordination... he tends to be a clumsy kid at times so hopefully this helps him out.  He was so cute to watch and loves it.

Boise Music Festival

My Dad had won tickets to the Boise Music Festival and invited Keegan, Brit and I  to go with him.  My mother-in-law graciously accepted to watch the kiddos while I went because Ragen was working.  There were some smaller bands and singers but Smashmouth and Kelly Pickler were there and that's who we mainly wanted to see.  It was fun to spend some time with Dad and Keegan and Brit and it was so stinkin hot.

More 4th Fun!

This post is a continuation from the last one... After all the fun in Declo we drove back in hopes that Ragen would be off in time for the fireworks in Poky and he barely made it but he DID make it.
I didn't take a ton of pictures but a few  as the fireworks were getting ready to start.

July 4th Fun!

This year we headed to Declo for the 4th of July, well just for the day.  Ragen had to work of course, never gets a free minute when fires are brewing. The Darrington's were having a big get together, fun in the sun and on the river so we packed up for the day and hit the road.  Kree just loves to get together with his cousins any chance he can.  We started the day off with the Rupert parade.  Mark and Verla like to take their residents (from their Assisted Living) to the parade every year and it's usually a pretty good parade.
We then headed back to the in-laws for a little time on the river.  Mark and Verla rented a big trampoline and slide in the river, plus they have the jet ski's and lots of food and fun.  I of course am not a huge water person but Kree was excited and the first kid to go down the slide in the river and Treker could care less of course.  Good thing there were plenty of people who were willing to help Kree out when it came to the water.
Waiting patiently for the parade to start

Can't Get Enough!

I just can't enough of my two amazing boys.  They truly are the light of our life.  We are very blessed to have them. I love that everyday they teach us something new and do something new and funny.  They are always keeping us smiling and I don't know what we would do without them. Kree loves to run through the sprinkler and Treker just loves Grandmas jumper. We love you two so much!

A Visit to Dad

On Saturday the 23rd of June we headed to the airport for the Airport Appreciation Days.  They had all sorts of airplanes and helicopters.  Ragen had to work but luckily he works at the airport so he was able to get away for a few minutes. It's the worst time of the year for fires and this season has been really bad so Ragen has been working a lot, so we were grateful that he was able to come say Hi.  There was all sorts of planes and helicopters that Kree loved.  Didn't get a lot of pictures of Treker because he was sleeping but Kree had a blast.
This was Kree's favorite

A New Bike

In June we decided that Kree needed a new bike, the tricycle he had been riding was just getting a little too small and he also wanted to keep up with some of his cousins a little better.  We let him pick it out and of course it was Lightning McQueen and now he calls his bike his "Race Car."  He is still trying to figure out the brakes but he goes fast. And of course Treker was just happy to be in his stroller and outside taking it all in. So proud of Kree, what a cutie!

Swim Lessons

I decided to put Kree in Swim Lessons this year.  I figured since I am not a big water person and Ragen is, I better start my kids young so they won't be scared of the water like Mommy is.  Kree was so excited.  He was the tiniest in the class and the teacher kept telling me how much she loved him and how cute he was, it made me feel good.  He was a little timid but very obedient, all the other kids wouldn't listen so that made me feel good too.  He did it for about 2 weeks and loved every second.
Awaiting the anticipation

He was a little nervous getting in

Such a cutie!

Father's Day Weekend

We headed to Declo for Father's Day weekend this year.  We had to make sure Kree and Treker got some cousin time becuase they don't see their Darrington cousins as much as the Hunter cousins.
We headed to Brant and Leslie's house for a little fun in the sun with the cousins.  Kree is loving the water more and more so we set up the sprinkler and let them play for a while.
We made sure we gave out presents to Daddy and to Papa for Father's Day.  Kree and Treker picked out a Boise State Potato Head for Daddy... he loved it but I believe they loved it more. I gave Ragen some golf balls and strap downs for his dirtbike, etc. I know pretty exciting!  Papa enjoyed his riding goggles from everyone.  It was a nice weekend with everyone and we always love making trips to Declo.  Unfortunetly Ragen still works BLM and got called in on Sunday so he headed back early and the kids and I hung out a little longer in Declo.
Just wanted to say Happy Father's Day to my wonderful Husband- you are amazing and so wonderful with the kids... We Love You So Much!  Also Happy Father's Day to my Amazing Dad, thanks for all you have done and raised me to be who I am today.  Love you!  And Happy Father's Day to my Father-in-law, thanks for raising such a wonderful son to take care of us.. We love you too!
I can't forget to mention that my brother Taylor and his wife Shantai had their 2nd child on Father's Day... a little boy named Ellis, Congrats you guys can't wait to meet him.

What's Been Going in June

So I have really slacked lately on keeping up with blogs.  The last several blogs before this one were all put off for quite sometime.  I just needed to post what's been going on the last month or two with the kiddo's and family.  It is now the end of June so Treker is about 4 1/2 months and counting. Treker has been growing like crazy.  We just took him in for his 4 month and he was 13lbs 4oz (17%), 24" (16%), and his head was 16 3/4" (57%).
He is becoming a little chunk when looking at him, he has the chubbiest cheeks... I love them! He loves to babble and talk to himself.  Loves to be faced outward or standing up and is always trying to sit himself up. He is rolling to his side all the time just waiting for the day when he's on his tummy.  He hates tummy time still but will hold his head up now really well,  he is holding toys/rattles, etc and loves to eat them.  He also loves to eat his hands and lately it has been his pointer and middle fingers that make it into his mouth. He is also discovering his feet with his hands and making funny faces.  He loves sitting in his bumbo chair... he thinks he pretty cool when he dies. His nicknames right now (I guess since he was born) are Chubba-lubs, Chummers, Sweet Pea, and Angel.  We have tried rice cereal with him but he is not a fan, but we will keep trying, we also tried giving him some baby food and he liked a little but had a hard time grasping the concept but we will keep trying. My favorite thing Treker is doing is he loves his blanket up by his face and he'll grab it and pull it over his face and then shake his arms a little and then pull it off and do it over and over again... it's hilarious.
He has had a cough/stuffy nose since he was about 1 month old. The doctor just keeps telling us that he has a virus but I think it's something else just don't know what.  At night he is constantly coughing and gagging on all the gunk in his throat and now it is happening more often in the day as well.  Hopefully we get this figured out soon.
Kree is growing like crazy and changing like crazy.  My little Bug-a-boo has started to get a little attitude and talks back to us, little stinker.  He is starting to say words that we are not to fond of such as "hate."  We have got to break him of this habit.  He started swimming lessons (pictures to come) and loves it.  He is a little hesitant at first but then warms up fast.  He also got a new bike (pictures to come as well), a cars bike that he absolutely loves and won't stop riding.  He has been riding his trike forever and now he's a big boy.  He is saying some of the funniest things and I wish I could remember them all.  One that sticks out in my mind is... we're riding bikes one night and the seat was pinching the inside of his legs and between the legs, but Kree says " Daddy, the Lobsters are pinching my peepers!"  He's saying this as he holds his hands up pinching his fingers together, cracked us up,  I just love this kid!  He says lobsters because whenever we go to Red Lobster they let him touch the live lobsters and they will pinch his fingers.
We have been doing a lot of bike riding... well Kree has and Ragen walks with the stroller and I usually will run with my sister Kari. Ragen has started BLM again and so far it has been busy.  He has had a lot of job interviews lately and some good options, now it's a matter of deciding what he wants and where we want to go so we can finally buy a home and settle somewhere.  It's already been a busy summer and lots more to come.
Lots of pictures below!
