Disneyland and More!

So this past week or so we headed off to Cali for a week and a half with the Darrington clan. It was a vacation much needed and wished it weren't over. We left on Thursday to St George so the boys could get their golf game in, then to Vegas after that for some shopping and then off to Cali. We stayed in a nice beach house in Oceanside- there is nothing like being able to listen to the waves as you fall asleep and wake up. Be prepared there are a lot of pictures to come explaining our vacation.

SUNDAY- USS MIDWAY SHIP IN SAN DIEGO

THE BEACH- after coming back from the ship we all headed down to the beach- it was probably the coldest day but we went anyway. The boys all went out surfing and us girls just bundled the babies up and watched. Here they are cruising the waves.

MONDAY- CALIFORNIA ADVENTURES

Sorry this is the only picture I had from California Adventures because our camera broke and we had to go buy a new one later that day- but it was fun and there were great rides and fun shows to see.

TUESDAY- SEA WORLD

Here we are at the SeaLion show

Shamu was probably one of our favorites and we even got wet- we loved it!

Kree was very into Shamu and loved the entire show.

Here we are inside Sea World- they have a kid playzone where all the kids can run wild and free. This particular one is the Little Kid zone- Kree loved it and did not want to leave. Here he is with his cousin Abree.

Some of the grandkids looking into the aquarium. I thought it was a cute picture. And then of course we got to neet ELMO and BIG BIRD. It was funny- Kree would not take his eyes off them but also had a death grip on me. It was too cute!

WEDNESDAY- DISNEYLAND

We love Goofy!

And probably the best one of all- MICKEY MOUSE and then of course we can't forget Pluto.

We went to ToonTown and played for a while and of course we had to get a souvenir for the road- a Mickey Mouse to snuggle with.

Leaving Disneyland- you'd think he'd be sad.

THURSDAY- SAN DIEGO ZOO

Kree loved the animals and the petting zoo.

On the bus tour- we got to see the TIGER,

the LION, and the ZEBRA'S,

and the BABY PANDA, and the ELEPHANT and lots lots more.

Having fun in the play area and on the sky ride.

And when it was all said and done we had to go home. We were very sad to go and had a ton of fun and would go back in a heartbeat. We did get to stop in Vegas again to shop and play more golf and stay the night at my brother Taylor's place, so Kree and his cousin Lili could play for a while. They were pretty cute together.
