December... Oh yeah Christmas! I forgot to post!

So I have really got to get on the ball. It doesn't help that my computer has been giving me fits lately. I guess better late than never, right! December was an exciting month getting ready for the holidays especially anticipating Kree on Christmas morning. We spent Christmas at my parents going up a few days before, playing games and spending time with family. Christmas was a little more hectic but fun this year. My sister and her kids spent Christmas at my parents as well while her husband is in Iraq. My brother Keegan and his wife spent it with us as well. It was a full house. We finally went to take Kree to see Santa, we just kept putting it off and off. We get to the mall and Kree kept saying "HO, HO, HO" when asked what Santa says and then we get to Santa's lap and Kree wouldn't even crack a smile. He did manage to say "Thank You" before we left.
Christmas Eve, my parents planned a few activities to keep the kids entertained. They always play a christmas gift story where you pass the gift to the right and to the left according to what the story says and then everyone will end up with a gift at the end. The kids love it and they are usually gifts more for the kids. After that Keegan and Britnee had planned for the kids to play out the Nativity for everyone. The kids did great even Kree. He wouldn't let go of the shepherd's staff and he refused to where the outfit, but it was still cute.
Christmas morning was fun.....hectic, but fun. Kree wasn't quite sure what to do at first when we walked into the room but soon figured it out after some guidance. His Mickey Mouse chair that Santa brought him was so cute. Kree is obsessed with Mickey Mouse so he loved it, along with everything else he got as well as what his cousin Ellie got too. That was the hard part. They are about 9 months or so apart and of course they wanted everything that the other received as well, so there was some crying and high-pitch sreaming from Kree Christmas morning.
Later that day we headed to Declo to Ragen's parents for the rest of Christmas and the weekend. The Darrington cousins' always have a Cousin's gift exchange for those who are 18 and younger. Kree received a Tool set from his cousin Gracie, he loves it and even to this day he is constantly hammer in hand trying to hammer everything. Christmas was definitely good to all of us this year and we all had a wonderful time. Ragen is always good to me when it comes to Christmas and I think that Ragen made out pretty good too. He got a helicopter that he can't put down, he's like a little kid, it's funny! Hopefully you all had a wonderful Christmas..... a month ago!

New Years we decided to go to Utah with some of Ragen's brother's family and some friends. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures, but we had a great time. That Sunday our friends that we stayed with blessed their little baby Ryker so we were able to stay for that. I had that Monday off so we stayed an extra night and got a hotel in Salt Lake hoping to take Kree swimming, but we get to the hotel and the swimming pool was closed, just our luck. We were so mad. Better luck next time. It was a great Holiday season.
